Has anyone here experienced a mindset change after joining a firm? More able to manage risk, follow rules, be disciplined and less prone to emotional breakdowns due to financial losses?
I think they might teach you how to replace skill with averaging down into loosing trades (mean reversion intra day) & other such methods guaranteed to blow you up. Seriously doubt there is anything to be "taught" about trading, if you don't know there is only one way to learn
It is likely that when you join a firm, you would better know it, the structure and other principles. And to some extent, you are prepared to take risks, which nobody knows yet.
