When did you find your edge and stop having outsized losses.

In my first 3 months of trading, I never used charts. I would simply buy what seemed like nice assets and cross my fingers hoping for the best. I was the classic retail amateur. By the way, I'm still a student of the market and will forever be, but I'm a lot smarter now. It has been a long journey.

I'd say the outsized losses aren't an issue if they are compensated by even more outsized gains. Bottom line is what I care about and go out of my way to free my mind of the woulda, coulda, shoulda of the day.
