got our first 1lb delivery and the product is gone literally within 2 hours. Sold to two guys at .5lb each lol Margins is shit right now, so looking to improve it. 3 of the 4 guys (including myself) are total rookies at this, so this is a real amateur operation looking to get better with time Another 1lb shipment coming at a slight discount summary:
Your futures account went from $10,329.34 to $17,300.14 over the time frame of April 30, 2021 to June 11, 2021. That is a gain of 67.5 percent in less than two months. That is an annualized gain of more than 2108 percent. You should just focus on your futures account, and forget the other investment activities.
the reason i won't go 100% into futures because i've pulled in crazy gains before (15k-120k+), only to lose it and got tilted after few losses. https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/joining-the-cme-gang.334231/page-43#post-5141129 This time around, I'm diversifying into other markets to limit that blowups. I'd rather take it slow this time. I'm more comfortable trading this way knowing that this account is going to be just about 25% of my NLV in the future
Moved money around from futures into stocks, crypto and REIT Stocks: This time I also included high growth stocks that pays dividends. extended my purchase to top 30 stocks that make the list from the screener Crypto: Added another $500. Bought top 20 crypto by market cap. Staked some of them through coin base. Almost hitting $1! i'm ballin now REIT: Adding about 2.5k. Will need to wait couple of days before it shows up. Going with streitwise this time; combination of retail, office and some multifamily Everything else stays the same. Futures account pretty much funneling new investments My side venture in the "green tech" is going to take off next month hopefully. finding the right and consistent buyers is not easy! My current cost basis: equities still lacking behind. will add more in Oct
apparently streitwise decides to increase their minimum investment from about 2.5k to 5k. What a dick move So ended up going with fundrise, which I'm not too thrilled about. I think their yields are generally lower from the last time I compared all these REITs, and of course their shitty fees. Whatever, my next investment won't be for a while as I've met my 15% allocation to this between upsideavenue and fundrise. I still like streitwise, and also other commercial/industrial reits like realty mogul or modiv.
I reviewed & chose Fundrise. https://www.doughroller.net/tools-resources/crowdstreet-vs-fundrise-vs-streitwise/
Some updates Increased my position in Fundrise to 5k to unlock the core level where you get to choose your investments going forward. Default funds after unlocking core: I also finally received some distribution from Upside avenue. Works out to be about 8% annual yield if this keeps up every quarter. That's pretty amazing actually. I also like the fact that it's local to where I live, one of their apartments is just 10 minutes away. Next few deposits will be towards this REIT. I'm still holding on to large growth stocks and thinking about gong all in NUSI etf. The reason being is that I feel like I'm just duplicating efforts to try to invest in basket of stocks when I'm already doing that through my 401k. My 401k is essentially buying the broad market anyway, and I think it's foolish to think that somehow I can outperform the broad market through separate efforts with after tax dollars. https://www.aei.org/carpe-diem/more...-time-95-of-finance-professionals-cant-do-it/ At the end of this year, I need to put a lot more money to bring up my equity holdings. Added into my crypto holding as well and updated my crypto holdings to limit to bitcoin and ethereum (more specifically eth2.0 staking). I just hate having to fucking keep up with these new shit coming out and basing it off the top 20 using market is just too overwhelming. I'm staking my eth2.0 for the 5% yield on coinbase just for the convenience of it. And looking at the ethereum project page, in the long run i can see this to be around 3-4% yield, it's it's like a decent dividend holding to me. Futures trading is still grinding. Been taking out profits and funding these other investments. Had a loss yesterday, but been rather consistent. My target allocation is still: 25% futures 50% equity 15% REIT 5% crypto 5% venture/speculative
