Entrepreneurs need flexibility to hire and fire people. How can a barely literate high school graduate get his first job when his productivity level doesn't justify ai minimum wage of $15/hr. Middle men serve an important function in business. That includes job placement firms which save companies time and money, when they desire to hire people. They also have expertise in finding the right people to fit a job slot.
And what do the charts say to you? RHI & KFRC have potential (maybe) and the other two are of no interest.(below 30 week ma)
And outsourcing has worked so well over the past couple years, right? Products and services got cheaper for consumers because corporates passed on the massive savings to their customers, right? I don't see any of that. What I see is that all my banking relationship support personnel was outsourced to the Philippines and nobody has a friggin clue what is going on. Most outsourcing operations employ completely unmotivated staff at minimum wages who perform poorly.
Not true. Chat people from the Philippines and India are inevitably polite, patent and knowledgeable. They are motivated because their jobs lift their poor families out of poverty. Further their English proficiency is excellent, which is more than I an say about chat people in the US. I questioned a supervisor on this point and was told because of anti- discrimination strictures they have no choice but to hire them, in spite of their English language deficiency.
I tell you how that works in countries where labor is still valued and employees are highly motivated to be trained. Its called apprenticeship. At Audi, Volkswagen, Mercedes, or Porsche factories in Germany untrained 16 or 18 year old staff are first trained and won't touch their first car for almost a year. Smaller companies employ and train on the job. Those companies also outsourced many functions but at least those who are domestically employed get a first class training and gain valuable high quality skills. I bought my Toyota 4runner made in Japan and the workmanship exceeds anything that Toyota pumps out of their Texas factories. I hate middle men and see hardly any value added. I wished the entire car dealership middleman network was eliminated. All you need is a service center nothing else. Every time I walk into a dealership and see all those sleazy uneducated and lazy guys sitting around all day doing nothing and just preying on an idiot coming through the door makes me vomit. I can tell you stories about outsourced IT Services that will make the hairs stand up.
Yeah not at HSBC and other banks I had relationships with over the past 10 years. I don't want to suffer service quality so some people far away are lifted out of poverty. By the way that is entirely wrong. Nobody in the Philippines is lifted out of poverty. All those people who work in call centers are family members of the middle class, not poor. Those in poverty would never get a chance to get a 20000-25000 pesos per month call center job. Ask anyone who knows about Philippines and they will corroborate the numbers and what I just said. Fact of the matter is that our service quality has gone down the drain because corporates enrich their shareholders at the huge expense of their customers. Because share holders today don't expect an annual increase of 4 or 5 percent anymore but 20% and corporates are squeezed to death by the owners to enrich a few at the expense of many.
It's a she and your post shows you have zero interest in an honest debate but only name-calling and making up unsubstantiated claims.
"...... see all those sleazy uneducated and lazy guys sitting around all day doing nothing ......." So name calling is ok if they don't know you are name-calling them?
