Thanks for the suggestion. I spent quite a bit of time evaluating OpenQuant a few years ago though when I first started out. It was a horror story. Mediocre product brought down further by dreadful customer service. I wouldn't touch anything from SmartQuant.
I had an awful time with their lack of documentation but the simulated annealing process they include makes for a combination of high accuracy and reasonable time to conclude an optimization of a system with lots of variables..
