AFAIK 'static' vs. 'dynamic' price ladder is the answer, see

    Who is OEC?

Whose DOM did you show in your post, and which broker offers it?

    Thanks.

  4. Lorenzo,

How do you like OEC so far? Looks pretty good, I like X Trader, but I need a strategy feature like Ninja has and I can't justify paying for Pro version.

Didn't notice if OEC can do that? How much a RT with OEC? I really like to get my commissions down to $4RT with fees as opposed to the $5.75RT I pay now with Velocity. When scalping for a few ticks as I am, I need to get those costs down.

They offer 4.5 $ Round turn for the e-minis (2.25 per side) all in, and less for high volume traders

They have own (new) reliable servers.....

If you want PATS data feed they also offer J-Trader Plus

500 $ daytrade margins for the e-mini and 1,062 Euro for the Dax future!

  6. Here's a tip: install OEC, install X_TRADER and have them both run at the same time with their DOMs displayed for the same future. You will see that OEC lags X_TRADER by more than 1 second. Do the same thing with X_TRADER and Interactive Brokers and you will see the same thing happening.

If you want the "realest" (sorry, not a vocab buff here) time access to the markets and fastest executions, you need to pay for it. That is really the bottom line.

    more than 1 second? ....Ridiculous

I tried the demo of X-Trader and the lag is less than 0.5 second

There is no charting software exactly fast as X-Trader...so you could have more problems with this lil lag, in your trading

  10. In need the price structure of Transact (not $4.00 rt) + bid/ask volume permanent on DOM.
