Problems with IB TWS

  2. No, I doubt we ever will. We'll here something vague about a hardware failure, and a backup hardware failure, but that's it. Isn't this the reason they make clustered servers?

    You can ask on their next quarterly conference call.... I am never free to catch them live or I would do it.

  5. The only trouble with clustered servers is that when they go down (or the routers go down) it can be very difficult to figure out what went wrong quickly.

    Popped champagne cork hit the off button and several... techs tripped over various power cabling inadvertently unplugging them in an attempt restart the main server.

    And now you know.
