I am using Quotetracker for backfilling IB data. I need backfill for: i) HKFEHSIU5 (Hang Seng Index future) ii) SGXSSIU5 (Nikkei 225 Index future) iii) SNFEAPU5 (S&P Australia 200) However, I am only able to get part of the data: i) HKFEHSIU5 (Hang Seng Index future) 1 day ii) SGXSSIU5 (Nikkei 225 Index future) no backfill iii) SNFEAPU5 (S&P Australia 200) 2 days I understand that Quotetracker evaluation copy only gives me 2 days of intraday data. However, I don't understand why I am getting data less than 2 days. Any advice? thx
IB does not have historical data on SGXSSIU5 As for the others, it would depend on the version of QT and TWS that you are using. For QT, get 3.6.4b - http://www.quotetracker.com/beta For TWS, you need version 849 or higher reliable multiday backfill. 848x will work with QT multi-day backfill, but not consistently as you noticed.
