We are already there. And creating fresh entitlement programs was sheer stupidity - on both Bush and Obama's parts. Looking at the CBO figures, we could cut defense spending completely and tax the top 5% of wage earners at 90% and the progress would take decades (literally) to make up the forward entitlement obligation differential.
You're right, I wrote that backwards in haste. Thanks for catching it. My point remains, however, that both were responsible then. Ignoring all the other things, are we? Just focus on the statement typo and none of the other issues. No mention of the millions of people?
