UK, 1 of the few places to get Fibre, 320MBps I think, seen 30MB/s DLing movies, don't really need movies that quick.. I remember 0.5MBps when I first had Fiber, used to take all night to download "24" episode back then, so I can feel your pain.
Interesting to see whether satellite networking will kill this industry. I'd love Starlink and its competitors to do just that. All reports from betas are bursting with optimism.
With a few users, no idea what max bandwith is between satellite and a base station, only going to be 1 sattellkte high enough in the sky to connect to, wnen its lower in the sky then slower connection to. Guess citys with good internet won't use it so rural areas could still be 20,000 users streaming Netflix, to 1 sattelite in orbit before switching to the next 1.
