I dont know, why this first sentence was cut off in my postine.

Therefore the sentence in the middle start with "...our..".

Now with some distance its more clear than before that you cannot trust people which tied together for such a long time.

Anyhow it seems to me quite corious, that nobody with an Pristine background is here in the forum.

    Hi,

I have the same questions as Dieter.

I would like to start Prop Trading withe Pristine.

    They charge 6995 USD;
included is a one week training AND livetime access
to their Prop Chat Room ( they call it the Black Room ).

I had a 1 week trial of the Black Room.
As far as I can judge after one week, they are doing quite well.
Especially their head trader - Sami - seems to really know how to trade.

Occasionally there were some other Pristine Traders running the Black Room.
In my opinion they haven`t traded well, but it have just watched them for a few hours, so how could I judge a trader having followed him just a few hours.....

    So the deal is:
You pay the 6990, get the education and buying power up to 2 million USD.
You start with 50K buying power.
If you earn a moderate weekly target 2 weeks in a row you will get more buying power.

    Conclusion:
    - I like their style of trading ( much is based on GAP analysis and trendfollowing after 10.00 reversal time )
    - They give you buying power.

    Question:
How about losses? Sure they cover the losses,
but will they just kick me out if I have for example 3 weeks of moderate loss?

Besides that question their prop program looks quite good.
I was just about to pay the 6990....

    Should I do it?

    Honestly? Hell, no.

They will never allow you to 'lose' much of "their" money, as your BP and daily stop loss will prevent that. That said, they won't risk a dime of their money. Instead, they will allow you to lose a few bucks of your own money ($7k) that they took from you.

In a nutshell, you'll think you've learned a lot from them, but somehow you will never seem to be able to trade profitably from what you've learned. Eventually, if you're a quick learner, you'll learn that what they teach doesn't work, and that's why they earn a living from 'teaching' and not from 'trading'. Same business model as Velez Capital Management and Team Trading. Sounds like a good idea... lots of people pay their hard earned money... lots of people feel like they have learned valuable information... Virtually nobody they 'train' ends up making a profit... But, they manage to still make a good profit for themselves off of the $7k "training" fee that they charge everyone to enter their casino.

Note that I've been trading successfully for over a decade, so this is not whining from someone that failed in their 'system'. That said, I know them surprisingly well and would urge caution for those considering burning $7k with them.

    NO...NO...NO!

Paper trade on your own with no money on the table, if you are able to break even after a month, put $2500 in a futures account and trade very small with proper risk management.

You mine as well lose your own money vs. lining this snake oiler's pockets, if you blow up and lose $2500, you still have $4490 more than if you blow upon Ollie's watch!

  9. Typical ET advertising. They have one post to their name and try to act as though this is their first time on ET.

    BEWARE.

When the "educators" must resort to these tactics, simply to drum up interest in some website.......run.

Maybe this stuff worked years ago, but not now.

We are much smarter than this.
