The war on drugs is idiotic, a simple sampling of countries around the world will allow anybody to relate punishment severity to drug usage, usage is less where things are legal... there are so many political scams going on right now. the drug war, the race war where nobody hires blacks because they price in the lawsuit risk, the war on poverty that has no exit strategy and never reduces poverty... there is no end to the garbage and it all makes the lawyer and government class bigger and richer and squeezes the non-public/non lawyer sector for more money all the time. Even though the public sector has nearly half the gross national product going through their stickly little fingers.... they never have enough money and they never will.....

basically, there are third-world communitees living under a first-world justice system.

read the local crime reports in your newspaper... the criminality is astonishing.

provide us one example where these laws have been enforced ...

although, your greater point is one I agree with, laws are readily made yet rarely revoked

the fact is the people in prison are criminals, considering that every effort is made by government agencies to keep them out of limited jail cells.

  6. There is no doubt that our laws must be changed.

Prison should be where we keep the very dangerous scumbags - murderers, rapists, pedophiles, and the like.

A pothead caught three times with a stash on him should not be in prison. It is not only a waste of money but takes up valuable space.

If our prisons weren't so crowded, then perhaps Life Without Parole sentences could not be appealed and the truly dangerous would not be let free to go out and kill and rape again.

And instead of board games and TV,

how about making them build something or just break rocks. Maybe they wouldn't want to go back again.

  9. in america it doesn't pay to commit small crimes, it's really not even worth trying for the fun of it, you get a fucking sentence of 20-30 years over something retarded

but it does pay to commit organized and large crimes, like billion dollar scams, and even if you get caught in most cases you will only need to pay a large fee, most likely less than what you have scammed people out of

there are many reason for why it is the way it is, but to list a few, most people working in law enforcement agencies are not very intelligent and are only trained to go after silly crimes like possession of drugs, they are hotheads like the majority of americans and get angry over stupid things, when there are more serious crimes being committed against them at each passing minute, plus everything in this world is about power, the small guy always gets fucked in the face no matter what he does or what he is

We had a cop near San Diego CA that had a hard on for drunk drivers. He would wait off duty in his personal vehicle with his badge and gun in the party area of downtown and then chase down people he thought was drunk in his own car. He did it last year and the driver of the vehicle got out of his car, so dirty harry shot him twice. His city just settled the lawsuit, it will cost the taxpayers millions. The cop's name was Aaron Mansker. Oh and BTW, this was third guy he tried this on. The first two times he did it, the drivers were not even drunk.
