Pring's Book: Technical Analysis Explained - Any good?

Discussion in 'Technical Analysis' started by TGregg, Jan 18, 2003.

  1. Which of Schwager's books are you referring to? I got his first ever book plus the 2 Wizards books. There is so much in the Complete Guide to Futures Markets that I never actually read the whole thing. Seems like too many authors have joined the a-book-a-month club. I never bother with Schwager's or Pring's later books.

  2. "So my question is: How does one get up there and charge $195 per attendee and not know if any of these patterns can be incorporated into a workable strategy? Furthermore, he seemed blissfully unaware of research conducted by others on the validity of these patterns."

Haha, that's how sucker! Anyhow it's quite apparent that Mr. Pring is an "educator", not a trader.

It's called "Schwager on Futures: Technical Analysis". One of the few books I recommend.

I am normally very leary of full-time authors, especially the ones that spend their lives doing seminars around the country selling their stuff, like the "Jake and Larry" show.

I do recommend ANY book by Joe Ross.
