Whomever said that is a dummy. Trendlines DO work (just not as well as horizontal lines).. Channels DO work, BIG TIME. Don't take BS to heart. Observe and think for yourself.

I will give Scat a benefit of doubt. Perhaps he knows how to trade but he did not disclose the secret. Anyway, trading is more of an art than a science. We can't describe art with words but through emotions and feelings.
I have no "secret". I never intended to teach "Price TA... KISS". I only wanted to draw attention to the methodology for those who want to succeed*. And it's not MY methodology.... it's Chaper One in Technical Analysis 101. It seems wannabes want to "skip Chapter One" and get onto the "good stuff"... just like stepping over a pile of money expecting a bigger pile lies further down the trail. I have handed $Millions worth of gold info to the thread. If traders are so blind as to not recognize it, what can I do? It's like the famous Dick Cavett quip, "You can lead a whore to culture, but you can't make her think". * This may not matter to many... but I have intentionally NOT "handed it over on a silver platter" to the ET board. I've guided but left it up to those who can figure it out. I recall the 1st time I made $1 Million in the markets... I was giddy about it for 6 months. When I told my parents, they didn't believe me. That was such a thrill, I wouldn't deprive others from the satisfaction of "getting it for myself" rather than having it "handed to me"... beyond the money, no personal satisfaction from accomplishment.
