Good Morning p0box4, I have not made my millions yet trading, because I have not made my millions yet trading. But trading is easy.
Another great educational Thread ruined. @Scataphagos thanks for the lesson we look forward to more educational Threads.
I'm willing to do one more update on this chart and highlight additional big/obvious TA plays. PM if interested.
Priviously identified 20200 as resistance and 19950 as support... "A"... "Failed upside breakout of resistance"... broke above resistance, then fell back below. This was just some of the "messy" the market does. Just have to cope with it as a fake-out. "B"... Small Rising Bottoms Support Line... Takes 3 points on a diag line to identify support or resistance, so you don't know it's possible support until it's the 3rd (or more) test of the line... point "B". You can see it held. Now about "diagonal S/R lines".... they don't hold with same percentage of reliability as horizontal ones, but you can see it held here and was a correct technical buy. Suggest you always mark them on your chart then see what happens. Some big moves start from diagonal lines. (Notice the 5x points testing the rising bottoms line on the ES chart.) "C"... "Possible complex top resistance". Resistance is often identified by referencing some prior high.. as in "matched high" like was seen at 20200. But a possible top can be from resistance formed "locally" as in this case. Included the ES chart to more clearly show a 3X possible complex top. IOW, the market tried 3 or 4 times to take out 20500/5830 but couldn't hold above. That's resistance. "D".. 3 items... (1) Rising bottoms line support, (2) backtest of prior identified resistance (becomes support) at 20200, and (3) small double bottom... all converging at point "D". Bottom Line... these plays were "pickable" according to "Price TA, KISS" So, where does leave us now? 20200 is still support, 20550-ish is new resistance.... buy support, sell resistance.. .KISS BABY, as always!
You said it's super easy to make money in ES, not that trading is easy. So, if it's super easy, why can't you do it?
Weird, you recently said you lost 5 figures last year and are barely positive this year. Is that how you define making money easily? You even said you aren't making any real money trading currently ...
Hello p0box4, That is correct. I lost about $26K last year and currently at about $5000 for the year. Correct, making money in trading is easy for me.
