What is your definition of "price action"?
I always thought it was the price range and volume together of the stock, future, market, candlestick, bar.

I can't find a clear definition of "price action".

pull up the chart without any indicator then you have "price" but for it to get some "action" you need supply/demand so add to the chart the volume and finally some pre-determine s/r levels, and pivot level that price react strongly to. So there you have it a price movement cause by supply/demand and also by attract/repel force when it comes near certain levels.
