Why don't you take your own advice and ignore it?

  2. Below is an annotation that follows the PVT methods posted for three years or so.

Two text blocks explain a little of what is going on.

There is a reference to a 77 page annotated dya of trading that shows more of how trading streams of capital works.

what I like about the PVT trading is that alot of people can use it to learn the pool extraction template. Others cannot as we continually see. Anyone does have the choice to learn it or to ignore it. Here you see a chart posted about 100 times by persons who made the choice to not learn it.

There are very few of these types who fit into the category of chooosing to not learn it and show also that they do not ignore it but they choose to show they do not understand what they are not learning and not ignoring.

The best reference to read on why and how they behave is Doidge, Chapter 6 entitiled "The Brain Unlocked" and subtitled "Using Plasticity to stop Worries, Obsessions, Compulsions and Bad Habits."

One of the clues psychiatrists use to analyze this behavior that is out of control is "There is often an emotional trigger for the first attack." (see page 165). ET affords us all that opportunity to track and review and analyze.

As a lot of ET readers persieve, failure is difficult to handle and it often generates side effects that fit into the conventional analytics technics of those who deal with mental patients.

In trading, a skilled person has a Trading Plan and it is part of his Business Plan. One of the wonderful things about PVT and SCT trading using the pool extraction algorithm as a temple is that all of it fits so nicely into Trading Plans and Business Plans. Goin one step further, the learning process has a syllabus that follows precisely how the mind is built to acquire knowledge and skills through critical thinking.

If a person's mind is fouled up, he may not be able to use his mind to learn. What is left that his mind can do? Read ET and find out.

So what is the basic and profound picture that everyone needs to understand to be able to look into themselves to begin to not make any further bad choices? Notice whether you, the reader, can sumon up that picture.

Only a moron would buy on a trendline break.. and the market quite rightly spanked you for it.. if you traded at all you'd be the worst one I've ever seen.. as it is you are merely the worst paper trader I've ever seen

  4. So, you're basically saying "it is what is"? In you're first post, you described price by the velocity and ferocity. I understand these to be elements of price action. So are you saying that these are the two elements of price that we should focus on if we are to understand who the players are, or are you saying that we can't learn anything from price movement? I ignored JH's post when it became unreasonably abstract. Thanks for your reply!

  5. If you guys feel the need to argue, do it in PM's. Or, if you feel everyone will be impressed by your witty reply, then start your own topic on how cool your replies are. Your first post can say, "so-n-so hurt my feelings and my pride, but here is my sweet response that helps me feel like a man again-- I know everyone will be impressed".

  6. If a fund is a buyer, then perhaps they could move the market lower and then accumulate. Or what if they wanted to accumulate in a market they will move? If they just simply hit the buy button, slippage would be ridiculous. So until they were finished accumulating, they wouldn't want other participants to know there intentions.

I would assume it would also depend on the instrument as well and the type of fund (growth, value, momentum, hybrid).

  7. Below is a flow chart that comes from knowing how the mind works.

PERCEPTION is what is going on most of the time for people.

Perception is the CONCLUSION of what a person thinks is going on at the moment. When you are dring a car you control it baseed on your perceptions.

When Laura Bush killed the first person she killed she did it with a car. She really liked the football player she killed, too. The word "beau" is sometimes used in the literature that describes he life then and her consequent life style. She was affected by the killing she did.

You have just had a few "perceptions" and they come from two paces and in the same proportions all the time. the chart shows perception is 100% of two ingredients. you can see from the picture how two things combine to give perception a result of your mind doing its job.

this is hard to present simply because, you the reader, have to go through recognizing something very new and unheard of before. It may be unbelievable, in fact, since you have different beliefs and they have to be set aside forever.

You are using LTP, a biochemical set up, to get into your mind an idea. and you are using LTD a different bio chemical set up to dissolve some strong connections in your mind that have been there for a while.

Perception = sensory input + inference.

    100% = 10% + 90%.

    Perceptiion is 100%

    sensory is 10%

    and

    inference is 90%

The 90% infrence is already a memory in your mind that you summon automatically to go with the 10% of sensing.

Do you see a feedback loop in the picture?

Crayola 101 was designed to do 50 or 100 times to simply do something NEW where the memory (inference) was not substantial at the beginning. a person can perceive the price zigzags on the 97th chart a lot faster than on chart 12 where his is still learning how to hold the crayola so to speak.

Put the graphic in front of your toilet on the wall enlarged for 100 shits and pisses so you can see what is plaguing the dumbies who cannot make any good choices to learn that you read here in ET.

When I first came here I posted a print of 17 trades. A jerk accussed me of photoshopping it and named the photoshop software. He blew up and quit trading in December a few years back.

his perception drove him to type a post. his inference component along with reading (sensing) the print allowed him to fuck up. the reason was his mind was already fucked up and his inference from his memory made it impossible for him to be able to think any longer using the brain that is still in his skull.

Look at the thunderdog posts when he reads a post I make and gets his mind to summon up words like "unbelievable" and "astonishing" as he takes his perception and puts it into a post using those words he got out of his mind through his inference supply that gave him his stupid and fucked up perceptions.

Do you see my inference giving me stupid, fucked up etc.... I hope so. My perception of these guys is that they can't make money and they have blown up.

I look at the stupidy of trader666 and all the aliases of trader28 and I see chapter 6 of Doidge real and alive in ET.

Making money is what I want everyone to do. I can see anyone getting down and doing the work to build their minds to have deep and excellent INFERENCE on thier side every moment they view the markets.

INFERENCE what allows a person to always BE on the right side of the market; to always know the MODE of the market; and to always be able to carve EVERY turn of the market.

Inference that enables comes from doing the drills for acquisition of knowledge and skills. Questions asked are a form of drilling.

When I sense the idiots on here posting the crap they do; my memories of humor pop right up and I have another laugh.

When I read "babble" in Babak, I have memories of things that make me laugh.

When I read that what I type and post has no meaning to someone (cause he makes a mindless statement in regard to my post), then I know he has no INFERENCE or even a glimmer of hope level in his mind as a memory to build upon to get started learning.

What is it like for the person when the person asks:"What is PA?" after I post using the acronym PA? It is normal for him to never think critically or have any reasoning capabilities. Now it is easier for anyone reading this to come to understand how cross wired their minds have become.

Can you imagine what it takes for a person to eliminate one of the market variables to become a better trader? Watch anek go from field to field and plow one furrow and never look back at that field again....LOL...

There are a lot of people headed for the exit in ET. They close door after door As they shut down mentally and finally find the exit. The resident OCD's are just here for laughs.

  8. Price is price. By itself you can not make any inference out of it. It's 1250, it's 1270, it's 1230, who cares. Only through the charateristics of the price movements can anything be ascertained. The 4 charateristics I personally use, and which are present on ANY time-based chart volume being irrelevant, are velocity, ferocity, time, and distance.

To make the correction to your post... yes, you CAN learn alot by price movement.

  9. The measures of velocity and ferocity could be considered.

The players are best considered by using standard displays usually available on commercial platforms. some are superior and until recently a collection of about four platforms were required to have the displays (and data feeds up).

After you have the four displays up and you have the related feeds, you turn to the job of "differentiation". Look it up so I do not have to explain it to you.

I will dumb down my post here for your benefit.

a trader needs to watch all the players all the time. I do that.

Since I do that you get to spend some time marking my words for your direct benefit. Orient to that for a while since you have a very long ways to go as has been pointed out to you by others.

Players who are unskilled make a lot of noise. If you wish you cut the noise and /or you regard it as you have separated it out so it is available to regard.

One particularly amusing time to watch is when these accounts are being blown out. A platform that allows you to bring up and replay the day according to your desires is a platform to have at hand. you do not have one so you are going to be stymied until you get one.

As a substitute use the next news day for observing this.

When the traders who trade in double digit contracts blow out, it is very very worth observing.

It is very important to watch big money sideline and when they side line. Always be observant of this.

Local activity is very important too.

So is the activity surrounding local activity.

For both of these, gain a comprehensive understanding by reading chapeter 4 of Harris. also look at the 32 types of traders he (harris ) shows in chapter 8.

by reading chapters on ward you get to learn about the baisc player strategies and how their footprints show all over the place.

Once you have about 30 footprints down cold, you get to deal with velocity and fericousness as mathematic analysis tools.

Here you add scripts to do that. For about 120 pages worth (when a page is five posts) go the the archive in ET we set up for that purpose.

Next you have to go from the above time rate of change orientation, which only supports knowing what is going on in the present dynamically to the orientation of not predicting which is an extremely well known trap but to anticipating.

How can anticipation be done and what is it based on? I'm sure that this comcept is unreasonably abstract from your point of view.

This is your thread and I have responded to a couple of crackpots who lurk and follow me around with their incessant mistaken perceptions.

a question. Do you expect each example presented to you to help you out needs to have visual pictures of the screens and/or the specific coding to get you what you want either as ATS or a manual display with flags and signals? Just doing a level check here. This question is specifically oriented to what is not in books etc..
