Hi Overnight, On Feb 13, 2020, the OHLC of MMM was: 161.67,161.87,159.00,159.76 So your trade price was of 159.54 was fine. You're viewing an adjusted chart that appears to incorporate some corporate actions since the date you're questioning. A split+spinoff+special dividend adjusted figure would have this in the $132.93-$135.34 range, and a split+spinoff+special+ordinary dividend adjusted (aka total return) chart would show this date wih a range of $110.77 $112.77. Assuming you still hold, you would have received (with ex-dates): 2024-05-23 $0.70 Cash Dividend 2024-04-01 1:1 Spinoff of Solventum 2024-02-15 $1.51 Cash Dividend 2023-11-16 $1.50 Cash Dividend 2023-08-18 $1.50 Cash Dividend 2023-05-18 $1.50 Cash Dividend 2023-02-16 $1.50 Cash dividend 2022-11-17 $1.49 Cash dividend 2022-08-19 $1.49 Cash dividend 2022-05-19 $1.49 Cash dividend 2022-02-17 $1.49 Cash dividend 2021-11-18 $1.48 Cash dividend 2021-08-20 $1.48 Cash dividend 2021-05-20 $1.48 Cash dividend 2021-02-11 $1.48 Cash dividend 2020-11-19 $1.47 Cash dividend 2020-08-21 $1.47 Cash dividend 2020-05-21 $1.47 Cash dividend Note also that on 2020-02-13, MMM went ex-dividend. Since you bought on the ex-dividend date you would not hat received that dividend ($1.47). In any case, MMM is certainly not at all time highs if you zoom out your chart far enough, whether or not you incorporate ordinary cash dividends into your chart adjustment algorithm. Here's a "Total Return" adjusted chart which incorporates all corporate actions including ordinary cash dividends up to today:
