  1. He didn't get "a" warning he got dozens. I'm not making excuses for him there is nobody on this planet more than I, that thinks the US gov't is anything but incompetant.

These are the same people that you think will do a good job nationalizing healthcare.

    People are such fools.

  4. On May 20, 2002, David Horowitz, the Editor-in-Chief of this website, wrote an article entitled “Why Bush Is Innocent and the Democrats Are Guilty”. The article discussed Operation Bojinka, which came to the attention of U.S. authorities in 1995 when Abdul Hakim Murad, a terrorist, was captured in the Philippines. As reported by Maria Ressa in her September 18, 2001 article “U.S. Warned In 1995 Of Plot To Hijack Planes, Attack Buildings” on CNN’s website:
The FBI was warned six years ago of a terrorist plot to hijack commercial planes and slam them into the Pentagon, the CIA headquarters and other buildings, Philippine investigators told CNN.
Philippine authorities learned of the plot after a small fire in a Manila apartment, which turned out to be the hideout of Ramzi Yousef, who was later convicted for his role in the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center. Yousef escaped at the time, but agents caught his right-hand man, Abdul Hakim Murad, who told them a chilling tale.
Murad narrated to us about a plan by the Ramzi cell in the continental U.S. to hijack a commercial plane and ram it into the CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia, and also the Pentagon," said Rodolfo Mendoza, a Philippine intelligence investigator.
Philippine investigators also found evidence targeting commercial towers in San Francisco, Chicago and New York City.
They said they passed that information on to the FBI in 1995, but it's not clear what was done with it.

  5. Since what you outline was known by Bush and Cheney when they took office, why didn't they take measures to secure America from an attack?

    Crickets chirping...

  7. and I never absolved them did I, nitwit?

If Clinton bore no responsibility why was sandy berger caught with documents stuffed down his pants trying to cover up clinton's culpability?

  8. Maybe Sandy Berger makes love to documents, I have no idea...

Nor does it matter, try another canard.

I have never absolved Clinton, but the buck stopped at Bush door when he became president, and since the right wingers claim to be superior in defending America, the failure of Bush to fix the "known mistakes" by Clinton should have been job #1.

9/11 was a failure of our security systems, but what followed 9/11, including the spying on citizens, attacking Iraq, the surge in the price of oil, etc. was all part of the Bush/Cheney plan...

The American people were so frightened like sheep that they allowed Bush/Cheney to get away with murder (figuratively if not literally)...all in the name of "protecting America."

Obama is president now for one reason and one reason alone...

    George W. Bush...

LOL, I just don't see Bush being that way. On the other hand maybe that was what Obama wanted, as his bowing represented that he was a lesser person in comparison.
