Not sure how to explain what I'm after... Basically, I'm looking for an indicator or software that wil show me what the price pressure is like for a stock/future, i.e. if there are more buyers, it will move the price up, or vice-versa... I want to capture / measure that pressure. It might be called a 'thermograph?' Any ideas?
Quotetracker has a built in "Pressure Indicator" which is displayed in %. I use it all the time esp at the open (futures) . The pressure indicator shows the ratio of shares traded at or below the bid (Red) v.s. at or above the ask (Green) in the last 30 trades. It is similar to the color coding used in Raw data to show buys vs. sell (pressure).
