I think his point was that the officer had to use his weapon and couldn't just fight it out hand to hand because a guy that large might well knock him cold and then could get his weapon and use it on him or others. All this bs about "unarmed" teen etc ignores the fact the freakin' guy was 6'4" and 300+ pounds. His fists were deadly weapons. He gets his arms around your neck, game over. He gets you on the ground and mounts you, lights out. Trained MMA fighters get the crap beaten out of them in that situation by guys their own weight. Try it with a guy double your size.
Things that make no sense or have proven to be lies. Brown was a "gentle Giant". Video of robbery shows a completely different character. Accomplice in robbery says they were just walking around doing nothing. Actually they had just robbed a store. Accomplice in robbery says cop was trying to pull Brown in though the window. Makes no f'n sense at all. Accomplice says cop was firing at Brown and shooting him in the back. Autopsy proves that to be a lie. "Witnesses" to the event say they saw the cop shoot Brown execution style. So we are to believe that this cop after shooting Brown 5 times, with the 5th shot going right through Browns eye, that Brown was still miraculously in a kneeling position, the cop walked up in broad daylight, in front of many witnesses, right in the middle of the street, and capped Brown right in the top of the head. This would be impossible to believe even if the cop was a card carrying Klan member, it was 1960, and the event happened in deep south Mississippi.
All of this was allegedly taking place inside the car, which is why I asked somebody who had actual experience with this. But thank you so much for your input.

This has already been posted, but it's the same unverified hearsay. AFAIK, none of these people have been questioned by the authorities. The results of that would be interesting.
How do you think? I wasn't in a position to be that teacher from Beavis/butthead saying, "hmmm. Could we not do that." I elbowed and smashed his face, head, back of neck, and throat with my left palm, fist, elbow and arm while pulling the bottom of my holster up with my right (pulling the pistol's grip into my lower rib cage so it couldn't be removed from the holster), and standing on the brake pedal. No, his face a bloody mess didn't slow him down. Trying to pull his ear off helped, but what did it was the lucky elbow to his throat when he raised up while head-butting me in the side of my face. Hope that helps I guess.. And yes, this was one of those "struggles" where both officer and suspect were visibly injured. Rare. Most struggles (I'm using your definition of "struggle"), end with no visible marks left on officer or suspect, but out of that number, many of those included: attempting to stab an officer, hitting him with a pipe wrench, trying to set him on fire, etc., all ended with zero bruising, scratches, marks of any kind on either party. I should know, being the unlucky bastage doing on the receiving end, all for $30,000/yr. After all that, can you now visualize the possibility lol that not every physical struggle ends in forensic evidence (markings/bruising), left behind?
Are they worse than NYC taxi drivers? Anyways, that isn't the point. The point is that no matter agreeable or peaceful you are, all it takes is one disagreeable person to create an unfortunate situation... And that disagreeable person will have a radically different perspective/outlook/focus on the world than the agreeable person thinks he has. That's the wide, unbridgeable gulf between idealism and reality...
