President's new Jobs Plan Tax Cuts

  1. Where you impressed?

I like the President's proposal for more aggressive Social Security tax cuts and think they will help. Not necessarily for many retail traders, as trading gains are generally not subject to Social Security taxes.

Many business traders do pay themselves an admin fee to unlock AGI tax deductions for retirement plans and health insurance premiums - so they will benefit from these tax cuts. Futures traders who are members of exchanges owe Social Security and Medicare (SE) taxes too.

I have a better idea on my Forbes blog.
Scrap Payroll Taxes Entirely To Increase U.S. Jobs

In my blog, I discuss 'man vs. machines' including HFT vs. day traders.

    What do you think?
