Based on that logic, you assert that Kruchev was right, and that America did fall without firing a shot. More people are socialist/communist than not. That is silly, of course, but as I posted elsewhere I understand you have been traumatized, and for the sake of your sanity and worldview, have no choice but to cast Obama as a usurper and the "other". If I were in your position, I would most likely do the same, given the educational achievement you have most likely attained.
Funny, most here on ET would say that your ideas are clownish. My thinking has worked pretty well for me given where I am posting from and where you are posting from. Look, your insults just make you appear to be an asshole. I don't know if that is how you behave in real-life but on ET you are defintely a damned fool. I'll go an all day if you like. Better run along and spew your garbage elsewhere.
In fairness to Obama high oil prices are not entirely his fault, its more of a Tag team effort between Obama, Bernanke, and Giethner. Geithner and Bernanke lobbed the ball up, and Obama slammed it home for the alley oop.
Bush let gas prices get insanely high too. Different motivations there, he was enriching his oil buddies. Obama wants to "limit carbon emissions" lol.
Bush's problem was the Democrat controlled House and Senate. He couldn't get any drilling opened up where there are large tapable reserves. Today, with Obama, the strangle hold on drilling is even more severe. I honestly think a large part of the energy solution here is nat. gas. And, Obama pretends the stuff doesn't even exist.
I could never understand why natty doesn't catch on. Perhaps it is the additional complexity and risk when refueling natty vehicles. But for power generation where the fuel is delivered via pipeline it makes perfect sense provided the pipelines are maintained and not overpressured like what happened in California recently.
