We all know the ICE activities were a show for trump's first week to brag to the country that he is cracking own on illegals.... this will fade away shortly as the news cycle moves on and these ICE guys do not have the numbers to keep this up... GOP will fail on this issue soon because neither party wants a true resolution which is a bipartisan position that you cannot enter this country without a visa, asylum case or permission. However for current system it is better to simply give all people here as of a certain date a path to legal residents, not citizens as long as they have no criminal felonies since they been here (not talking about parking tickets or misdemeanors).
