This is not a promise or vow, but it appears just floating the idea to the public is benefiting certain individuals already, and that's important. Trump Team Wants To Stop Collecting Safety Data On Tesla Crashes
Remember the prior 50 billion deal Trump "Secured" with Softbank that was to bring 50k jobs? But it was actually a part of an older Softbank investment package. Some of it happened, Softbank got hammered by their Wework issues. So basically what are the chances it's actually the same thing and Trump is sticking his name one an existing thing, a second time...?
"Trump says he's a big believer in the polio vaccine" So this one is settled, I'm scratching it off the list.
I'd have to read up about the polio vaccine thing. Your comment was the first I've head of that. If the mandating of vaccines is related to the COVID vaccine (which some schools still stupidly require) then I totally support. If it is rolling back the vaccination requirements of schools that has been in place for a long, long time, then I'm not sure I do. I'd have to see the argument. But until 10 years ago, I believed Cholesterol was bad for you, because that's what we were told. Now, after COVID, I don't believe anything the medical folks say - without first doing research on it.
@Nine_Ender @wrbtrader How are those countermeasures going? Your foresight is unparalleled. Canadian government is collapsing faster than a Jenga tower in a hurricane. The tariffs haven't even been imposed yet, and already your government is in shambles. You were so sure of your countermeasures, so confident in your government's ability to weather the storm. And yet, here we are, watching the Canadian government crumble like a house of cards. Some excerpts from the article below. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...ning-liberal-government-collapses-canada.html Justin Trudeau 'is on brink of resigning' as his liberal government crumbles Trudeau, 52, is 'considering his options as leader', sources have told the broadcaster, while his Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland revealed she will quit. Freeland quit on Monday after clashing with Trudeau on issues including how to handle possible U.S. tariffs, dealing a huge blow to an already unpopular government. In a stinging resignation letter, Freeland dismissed Trudeau's push for increased spending as a political gimmick that could hurt Ottawa's ability to deal with the 25 percent import tariffs U.S. President-elect Donald Trump says he will impose. 'We cannot accept this kind of chaos, division, weakness, while we're staring down the barrel of a 25% tariff from our biggest trading partner ... we simply cannot go on like this,' he told reporters.
Actually, cholesterol is bad for some people. They're called hyper-responders. (There are also hypo-responders.) You can get tested for this.
How about for the vast preponderance of people? If you're going to design a food pyramid, wouldn't you design it for the masses and leave the exceptions to the doctors to manage?
Mainly I keep that information in mind for myself, though I have not been tested, so I try to not overdo it, just in case. It always comes to mind when I hear a vegan or a carnivore dieter starting their lecture.
Well medical science has demonstrated that cholesterol has types and there is a good and bad and even further detail on A1C as to particle size. So the whitewash that cholesterol is bad overlooks the HDL/LDL ratios or particle size and the patient's cholesterol history. Also it needs to be taken into account if a person naturally or genetically overproduces cholesterol- their numbers will always be "high" but not necessarily unhealthy. Most doctors prescribe Lipitor and Crestor but they have side effects and also the medical research really indicates it should only be prescribed for specific high risk patients...not the average person who is simply overwiehgt with a shitty diet. The pamphlet inside these drugs shows patients not on these medications in control groups had something like a 1-3% mortality rate so we are prescribing something to fix a problem that is not necessarily a problem except for a specific group of people. Also no one makes money off of diet and lifestyle change recommendations and the average fmaily doctor who prescribes statin drugs has little or no background in nutrition or exercise except the general info we all know. My cholesterol has gotten up but I refuse to take statins since I am not in that specific small risk group and I have seen modifications from diet and exercise. Family members who take hte pill complained about leg cramping/pain and other side effects but to be honest take the pill without changing a damn thing in their diet.
