It is their own medical society, the American Psychiatric Association, stating that it is unethical and improper for psychiatrists to push claims about an individual they never personally examined. How will you like it when a group of psychiatrists -- all of them registered Republicans -- push claims that Biden is unsound of mind, has dementia, and is unfit to be President. There are reasons the Goldwater rule is in place -- prevent quacks from pushing their "analysis" for political or personal purposes.
I can believe that Trump is a nutjob.... but no group of psychiatrists - who never personally examined Trump - should be pushing this as their professional opinion publicly. The key word here being "professional" -- which holds them to a higher standard.
Well, you and I both know it, and would bet money on the fact that Trump is a nutjob. And we're not even psychiatrists. So don't you think they're better equipped to draw such a conclusion? In principle, I agree that such diagnoses ought not be made lightly and from a distance. At least as it applies to borderline cases. Trump is not a borderline case. There is no doubt.
Of course they will. But thay had no choice given the extreme consequences which clearly were well founded. Psychiatrists are medical doctors, will sports broadcasts stop their medical doctors discussing the potential consequences of injuries of players they have not personally seen etc? You are getting tiresome. Trump is not a 'nutjob' as you try and trivialise it, he is a megalomanic, grandiose narcissist and smarter than you are for practical purposes, far more so at the same age. His actions are predictable within a certain range for any experts in his condition. You need to actually think about the duty to warn Greg and they were perfectly correct to do so and it did in fact cost life on a massive sale. Get your head out of your ass.
For the last year or so, this thread is just a convenient effort to switch the topic. Brandon is in charge. It does not go well. So, let's keep talking about Trump. I would like to hear more discussions about the present but it is so sad that people like you do not want to talk about it. When I said "like you" I mean all who voted for the disaster a year ago. Thank you for all your efforts.
