President Hillary Clinton - Best for the Economy !!

Discussion in 'Economics' started by Joab, Feb 17, 2008.

  1. That's a very naive viewpoint and is straight out wrong. Maybe you need to get off your tirade and really research how the world turns.

But then, anyone who watches Bill O'Reilly, short of laughing at how stupid & trashy he & his viewers are, is very unlikely to have an open mind.

The rich may only pay 60% of the taxes, but they pay far far less than their share. There is a whole industry based on avoiding taxes.

Another note. Even with all the tax evasion techniques, the rich still pay most of the taxes in the nation. That should signal something. The masses are BROKE. There is no more money to squeeze out of them.

Regardless, with this line of thinking, you will never figure out what is going on. Just keep blaming the right or the left, while watching Bill O'Reilly or whatever other talking head. Oh yeah, and calling the government & establishment stupid, which is the most ironic part of these conversations.

Why would a trader care which direction the market goes?

    Can't Canadians sell short?

  3. It's hilarious to see the sudden popularity of Hillary Clinton on ET.

I think for most here it's not who is more qualified, or who can do a better job. It's basically a black man Vs. a white woman.

Anyone that traded during the last Clinton administration gets the whole point of this thread.

It was like fishing for Marlin in a swimming pool and you could make OODDLES and ooddles of $$$$$$$$$$$$

I'm not saying it will happen again but if it worked once ... why not !!!!

It's not were the market goes that matters so much as HOW it gets there. :)

One closing thought for me (remember I'm an unbiased outsider)

I recently visited NY for a week ( I had been there many times in the past pre Hillary) and I have to tell you I was seriously impressed and blown away by the state of the state.

People were humble and friendly and everyone seemed to be mostly HAPPY. In my previous trips I had terrible experiences there and actually disliked it very much but this time was very different.

In my hands on experience, I think she has done a very good job.

Let's be honest, I know she's a chick and I know she's a little annoying personally BUT truth be told I think she is the best qualified of all the poo choices AND if the market does what it did under Billy... We TRADERS will all be massively RICH

If you mean NYC, Bloomberg deserves the credit. Anything else, well then, Schumer will hold a press conference. We could shout out some props to Bill for Harlem.

If you consider the background of the times "under Bill" and now, there are so many holes in your argument/plea, I wouldn't know where to begin.. :(

I know your very negative about the state of affairs and your right to be BUT that being said I think the answers and solutions are much easier then you may believe.

It really is simple, STOP the massive spending by government and make it so the rest of the world WANTS to come to America again.
