Preparing for Trump's Indictment

  1. Heh. Alvin just poisoned the well of public perception in regard to other charges as well. Even the dems have acknowledged that this is political hit.

"A conviction is not a sure thing: An attempt to combine a charge relating to the false records with an election violation relating to the payment to Ms. Daniels would be based on a legal theory that has yet to be evaluated by judges, raising the possibility that a court could throw out or limit the charges."

  3. It's a sad day for the republic.

No one here- lib or conservative and no one in DC- lib or conservative- and no one in New York thinks for even micro-second that this case would be being prosecuted years later, after having been rejected by the Feds and by the previous DA unless it were Trump. These cases just do not get prosecuted in NYC unless you have a political reason.

What a disgrace. The dems are so happy to see Trump take a hit that they cheer an event that shows that we have become a banana republic.

As the saying goes: "No one is above the law. But no one is below it either." You are prosecuting a president where no ordinary citizen in New York would ever be prosecuted.

  5. You are out campaigning for Ron DeSantis as usual today.

All while making it clear that you will commit hari kari if he is ever elected.

You might want to think about that a bit. You guys are having your fun today but if and when it turns out that you are not running against Trump you will whine like little pussies and wonder how you got there.

  6. Overnight

    Overnight

Because no ordinary NY citizen is an ex-president who used campaign funds to pay off a whore to not speak about his affair with her, and claim the expense was "legal fees", breaking campaign finance laws.

  10. The feds who are responsible for enforcing the campaign violation laws refused to prosecute. They did not think they could get a conviction and did not find that it involved the use of campaign funds.

So the state of New York decides they are going to enforce federal campaign laws? Yeh sure. Tell me again that an ordinary citizen would be on the receiving end of that.
