  4. Once again, you are not familiar with the American system of justice.

You may state that something is illegal, but whether what Trump has or has not done is illegal is for the court/jury to decide.

Trump has been accused of many things and had an entire DOJ and FBI and multimillion dollar Robert Mueller scam allege many things that ultimately went nowhere.

And if Trump violated the law, then go for it. But your immediate salivating over an accusation against Trump is just a girly emotional response, which is not part of any legal standard.

Or because he knew they would take and twist anything he said and use it as ammo. Invoking this right is a solid strategy often advised by counsel and doesn't always indicate guilt.

It is even worse than that. She used loans she got from the Cares Act to buy two vacation properties claiming hardship, all the time she was getting her huge 6 figure salary? I hope she gets convicted and locked up for a good number of years. She should also, be disbarred for her abuse of power.

Seems unethical at the very least. I'll wait to see the outcome. I was kidding about the property overvaluation.

The Trumps are in a legally precarious situation now. The NYAG claims to have evidence of wrong doing within the Trump sphere and as such she has the legal authority to bring in witnesses and as such those witnesses are obligated to be truthful with her or face legal consequences, or plead the fifth amendment. Not fun stuff.

  9. James did not do anything she was not entitled to do. Get over it.

Here's a little amuse-bouche for you: depending on the documents referred to, Trump's penthouse in Trump Tower is either ~30,000 square feet or ~10,000 square feet. Can't wait for his accountants and lawyers to square that circle.

  10. Based on the AG's comments it is clear that they are on a fishing expedition. When the state is on a fishing expedition and you don't think they have anything, it is highly appropriate to take the fifth and give them nothing to work with. The burden is on the state.

If the state does not have much, then Plan B, is to get the defendant to testify and then bag on a perjury charge because they lied about Storm Daniels bra size at some point in twelve hours of testimony.

Where Trump and TrumpJr. and all of them need to be careful - and truthfully will probably screw up- -is with the bloviating on TV while also pleading the fifth. Gets very dicey as to what constitutes a waiver. Not going to go into the weeds on that right now. Just sayin. Pleading the fifth in a legal proceedings if fine as long as you hold your act together outside of court as well.

Most likely they have a bunch of Michael Cohen shiite to work with too. A guy who is always committed to dropping the bomb on Trump and bring him down but always end out looking like just another scumbag unreliable witness.
