No. As I stated previously, my wife is an Australian citizen and we would move there first to get Australian citizenship. Australia does not tax non-resident citizens on income earned outside the country, just like Canada and every other country in the world -- except the US and North Korea.
I live in southern California. About 25% of the local population is here illegally and nobody seems to care -- especially the federal government.
