i'm looking to do some research and track price data, etc. where can i find preloaded spreadsheets with symbol already there? for example, the s&p500, the different s&p sectors, various sector groupings or whatever. don't want to reinvent the wheel if it has already been done. thx.
Dear Fellow Traders, Could anyone suggest an Excel macro or template that can download free real time stock quotes into an excel spreadsheet? (Especially for Excel 2002.) I know that there are several paid programs on the net for this, but most of them are complicated or does not work well. I need only a simple thing that displays only the last price (and perhaps ask and bid price), and I know that there are free real time data sources on the net, so I just need something that puts these data into Excel.
