Typically after an IPO preferred stocks will be traded OTCCC (pink sheets) for a few weeks prior to showing up on a major stock exchange . While trading OTC the preferreds will have a different symbol than when it eventually trades on the major exchange. Is it possible to buy these while they are trading on the OTCC pinks thru IB ? I could'nt get the OTC symbol FHRDP to come up on the TWS.
