Fucking pathetic how happy everyone is about this 600 billion bailout, when will people realize that these bailouts are only going to do more harm than good. Keep printing money because that's the only single way they think can fix this crisis. Haha.

I think that we can all agree that it will be quite interesting to watch the market over the next few days...I personally suspect that we will see a short period of optimism, followed by renewed doubts about Europe...I really doubt that the current European woes are over, they are more likely just getting started.

You know what I find funny about this drop is after the fact the dow has declined nearly 1000 points all the money managers and fools alike come out saying that this pull back was necessary after the strong 13 months of gains the markets have had. The other thing I find amusing is the fact that most are yelling that this is a buying opportunity, the sad thing is that these are the same idiots that were screaming buy at 11,000+. The ones screaming buy right now saying its going to 11k or 12k are the ones who will be telling you to buy all the way down.

Does anyone know if there are any systems in place to slow and even halt trading when rallies accelerate to fast on the new york stock exchange or is it only for those days when there are huge selloffs taking place!!!!!

Funny how the proper systems are in place to prevent any collapse from occurring but when markets rise they just keep it going.

There are systems in place to slow — and even halt — trading when selloffs accelerate too fast on the New York Stock Exchange but as those slowdowns began, traders took advantage of the global trading system and went to other exchanges to place their orders.
