  3. Back at account highs, solid day.

I'm not going to use the high trade rate scalp strategy because of executions anymore. I'll use just the pure strategy I've always been posting. Better r:r, better execution, better everything.

Woo! Scored another nice win. Exits are tough though, left money on the table; all trades will be ones of regret. Keeping this in ming makes it easier. Let's keep the roll going

One of my most powerful techniques. On a stacked level, wait for the more extreme to enter. I closed short on the lower, but it made a small bounce before continuing the move down. I expected a small reaction on the lower gray level before a continuation down... this is exactly what happened yesterday on another trade too. I just have weak hands...Only made 1%.

For 3 weeks, not bad. https://collective2.com/details/134463089

Explanation as to why some earlier trades were losses. Changed it up to the pure strat to make only a few trades per week. Working out well.

  6. I looked at different 'best' strategies on C2 that don't show up (mainly due to recency) in the Grid function to compare them to my own.

One of them has 100% winrate (been around for only a couple of months) That strategy averages down and has a strategy reset. I don't know why because although it had a max DD of 49%, it went to 32% gain overall and the guy reset it from there although it had no losses either.

There's several others called some variant of its name. Multiple blow ups by checking on his name are set to private, and the ones that survive have had big drawdowns. It goes up pretty fast while it works.

Current leaders do not use such high leverage as these guys. I thought I was using a lot but the ones I mentioned are using 5-10 times as much leverage as me. One subscriber asked me to use more leverage for greater returns because the drawdown was already low (I messed up on stuff due to execution as mentioned, but whatever, it'd only be a matter of time before such DD was reached anyway, probably). It seems my risk-adjusted returns are the best. It should only improve as I avoid mistakes I made at the start of this venture.

Any other place to check out more strategies and their metrics? Also, I'm wondering why top traders have stayed with C2 rather than swapping over to trade private? Doesn't make sense.

I see your trades sized at $50K and your account size is $50K, so you’re at 100% leverage, and 5x-10x more isn’t possible. So I either misunderstand this (and you didn’t explain the details) or you’re bullshiting and this may not be good for your credibility. Make clear claims backed up by math and examples, otherwise you may look like a looney crackpot who just talks shit about others.

This is also illogical and doesn’t make sense because top traders are not with C2 and are private, therefore you cannot see their performance and cannot know about them because they’re private!
Also, you, the top trader, are with C2 :)

  8. C2 displays 'average leverage ratio' and mine is 1.5. The ones I was referring to are POLR Bull and Excelsior. They run a a heck lot more.

I was referring to the top ranked traders on C2. One can see how long they've had their strategy open to the public. To clarify, why have those long term traders not went private?

So for example at the bottom right, we can see this strategy has an average leverage of 10. This means that if he takes a trade equal to the average, it will make or lose around 10% for each percent its holding does. You said its impossible. It isn't. How is this possible? Margin.

And this is the guy's other strategy before he did a strategy reset. He won all the trades but not before using a stupid amount of leverage and crazy drawdown. If it had went down slightly more, it would have been over. And no, not photoshopped, anyone can check this here: https://collective2.com/details/133444659 I'm only running a fraction of that kind of leverage.

This was the other one I was talking about. It shows 10 created but only shows five, so I assume the others blew up like the bottom two did.

What if 5 top ranked ones on C2 went private? Then there would be next 5 that are still on C2 and everyone would think that they are the top. So maybe 50 top ones went private and we no longer see them, while if more of them go private then there will be others who didn't go private yet, so the question will never be answered or valid.

But also, I've seen some staying on C2 purely for marketing. They run different strategies privately and via hedge funds.
Others may appear to be "top" but they know there is too much risk and couldn't take those risks on their own.
