While you are making adjustments to your sheet, consider adding columns showing the draw down per trade; and the time in the trade (or the entry datetime and exit datetime). Like it or not, @MarkBrown raised a valid point. You should show that you made what you made over a short period of time, rather than holding the position for weeks/months/years. You should also show that you didn't hold the position during a massive draw down, waiting for it to become profitable before selling. These don't seem to apply to you, but you should, nevertheless, document that fact. EDIT: Anyone that has followed you closely in this thread, doesn't need you to articulate those statistics. The stats would be for those that don't follow you closely. I'm curious to see what your next move will be. (Not referring to stock trade)
Because I typically hold from 0-2 days, a time held column probably won't matter; I think just max drawdown column is ok? I can add max drawdown on the trades thus far later tonight or tomorrow, as the intraday charts I have set up extend that far. There were a few trades that had a decently large drawdown to them. I'm also making decent returns from non-directional short term options selling strategies but they are not documented. Shall I record those too? I think it'd be better not to, as it would be much more difficult for viewers to track if looking back, because its reliant on options pricing.
I can dig it. Bruh, it's your thing. Do what you want. Like I said in the past, how and when will you monetize your skill? ... that's what I'm wondering.
I hadn't made a spreadsheet to track my trades in the past, so this is a learning and improvement experience for me. I'm technically monetizing my skill by making money. I made ~200% for family so far. Do you mean like a collective2 thing? I don't really know how to go about it. To be honest, trading is pretty much the only thing I've been doing in daily life for the past few years. Sitting in an apartment room day after day staring at the screen, reading trading books, etc. A bit like those Japanese hikikomori type things. Weekends are boring.
