    Lots of trend truth there;
    however there are some important persistant exceptions, which work well for seasoned professionals like market makers, specialists.

    Spring season started on March 20.

  2. murray t turtle..............thank you.........no one has ever agreed with porgie but you..........for long...........buy low sell high ......the trend is your friend........i just saw that come true for a few this morning ........i don't usually trade before 9 cst.....porgie time to wake up........but times very insignificant...just like news.........like maria and mark....worthless for Y M trading......i see 1 chart on my monitor ...........2 or more is fine.........i see 1........no tv on.........no radio on.........no distractions.......no short charts.....orange juice close at hand.....brother on microphone as he fights porgie stuff even when 100% ...he uses porgie 80% stuff.......and psyche effect not good when losers occur....80 is great but still takes emotional toll.......too much thinking required ......go figger.........

    porgie & bro;

    Understand why you & some dont trade much before
    9;oo [central time, chicago time]

    Have traded before9;00 & may do it again[not a prediction];
    you have to be careful cause some of them buy, sell, short ,cover rather quickly then .
    :D

    Like Art Cashin comments , director of floor operations,
    @ CNBC mid-day ,but as an elite market maker -countertrender said;
    I am usually one of the last to get the news[He is watching , working patterns more importan than the news]:cool:

  4. all i will say about that is 5 years ago it was true about higher risk trades time frame and it still is.........some things never change.........i based my system on things that never change........like the trend is your friend and buy low and sell high.........buy the dips sell the rallies..........otherwise you are trying to make chicken salad out of chicken feathers.....that is the nice way of saying it...........counter trenders are hoping entering at the real turn point /apex ....hoping......or scalping for a few against the trend.........5 years say that is not smart.........12000 hours say that is actually dumb..........and if they are correct and ti is the apex, then they are trend trading early..........not countertrend.........

  7. the decoder ring is needed because porgie is not a smart person......but, smart is not a factor in trading success.......it might help a bit, but tenacity is the key....coupled with desire to learn business........most of all if u love it because online trading requires no people to depend on but yourself, no liability when mistake is made, do it or go fishing,,,...........no one to sue you, to distract you, to instruct you, to irritate you ............sit around in leisure clothes or preference..........you are the boss when wife is not in room...........lowest start up cost of any business known to man that has this much potential..........can design your own business plan to suit your personality, accoount size etc.........all good stuff if we don't let emotions and greed eat us alive.........learn to recognize chicken salad not chicken feathers........

    Re another ''T''

    Porgie;
    Good key;
    that starts with a ''T''

    Wont help in ''predicting'' intraday price movement, but helped me more;
    look as trading losses as a''business expenses,''
    all businesses have them both.
    Another key is not haveing unnecessary business expenses/losses;
    especially in trading plan, execution of written plan.
