  1. with or without the assassination there was going to be a war England and her balance of power strategy could not tolerate an economical strong Germany. The Baghdad railway was the final blow to England's control over eastern trade. via the balance of power strategy, England switched from being hostile to french imperialism to allies with french and russia to thwart an economical growing germany. There was going to be a war one way or another

  2. Someday you guys, someday all of this pressure throughout the world will find it's crack and BOOM conflict will occur. This has happened for as long as man has existed. The context of how these conflicts play out has changed and morphed over time. However the one thing that has remained constant throughout the ages is the increase in size of weaponry and committed population size. What is being fought over in this day in age isn't going to matter anymore because the world has gotten to be small enough where you can't avoid the ensuing conflict. Yaaay technology!....... Learn to shoot, learn to hunt, and learn Chinese is all I have to say hahaha No I think wede blow everyone to bits before the u.s. would let a foreign power hold domestic ground.

Just don't forget in your speculation horrendous conflict is occurring throughout the world every single day. Just because we don't see it and aren't a part of it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Also, generally speaking the u.s. Is engaged in conflicts all around the world 24/7. There's a lot more happening than wats on the news, and that's wat scares me. People just don't know and don't care.

Enjoy this pseudo peacetime as much as possible.

  4. Great posts.

I would like to add the following.

My grandfather lived trough WWII in the most horrid of conditions basically having to eat mud 4 years in a row to survive....

And yet a decade or 4 later he was able to enjoy a nice meal as much as the next guy and got really pissed when he didnt find his car key.

How is that possible I often ask myself. Such adaptability.

The same proces can be observed on a bigger level.

Germany was bombed back to the stone age, people lost all their money trough hyperinflation and they were the most hated people around the world for years to come....

And only 2 generations later they managed to become the biggest export nation in the world, with (up untill recently) the strongest currency around and the backbone that is keeping the entire continent together.

If you would have predicted this scenario to a German in 1950 he would have had you brought to the asylum.

So I try to keep an open mind and dont take one potential future scenario for granted regardless of the probability because there are many variables at play all the time.

I am a believer though in these cycles engraved in human condition and I don't believe elites can turn this of and on but they do have the knowledge and resources to benefit from these cycles.

My great grandfather lost all his money in the crash, my grandfather kept all his money in his sock, my father kept all his money in the banks and in stocks.

This generation was supposed to lose it all again and remodel the system once for in order for it to be viable again to todays world.

Time will tell if history will judge the changes implemented as being sufficient and give us a pass.

  5. yes, but it is not humanity at a whole who ensue conflict. A few tyrants through power and wealth feed on conflict for concentration of power and wealth.

"Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”
