I'm slowly learning to daytrade and am wondering if it is advisable to learn to trade the pre-market. I ask this because I've notice lately that a lot of the movement occurs in the pre market, although I've also observed the thin volumes and varied volatility.

Which is why I turn to your experience.

  2. id wade into those waters very carefully. the volume and real volatility is true, but id warn you of how quickly many levels of bids or offers can disappear when you may be leaning on them.
There are some sharks in extended hours that will tear people apart if they get caught in the traps. Trade the market events, not the stocks in play.
