Anyway, back to pre-market trading. It can be very rewarding but extremely punishing. Liquidity can dry up in an instant and the futures can flip in an instant. Who needs it? I occasionally take a position pre-market but with the view of closing it in the regular session. Besides, after dropping the kids off at school I am not at my desk until 9 am anyway, when whatever news event moving a stock has long since passed. I like postmarket earnings announcements.
