Do you guys use pre-mkt and after mkt sessions. I'm a beginner and have noticed that better (or at least more predictive) moves happen during the actual session, while pre mkt and after mkt moves are abrupt and hard to get. Although I've noticed that it is very difficult to catch those that move due to news, I have seen a few issues that are related to the issue with the news, to be tradable. By the way, I've heard a lot about scalping, but dont really understand it, can you guys explain. Is it the same as daytrading? Also, what produces good results over a long period of time, day trading or holding over a few days?
