Practical Delta In I.B. Risk Navigator

Discussion in 'Retail Brokers' started by USAtrader, Nov 10, 2009.

  1. Haven't used the Risk Navigator much. For those of you who have... It does not account for inverse ETF's. For instance, short SKF will show up as negative delta. I assume there is no way to get the Risk Navigator to account for this and show a short inverse ETF as long delta, thought I'd give it a shot. I get that it is "technically" correct, but not in practice. Anyone know of a way around this or to have it account properly? Able to dictate to software to account for certain symbols differently?

It would help to be able to see at a glance net "real" exposure if sudden market hedges or additional exposure need to be put on, etc.
