    PPL 32.62, +0.58, +1.8%) has notified The Philadelphia Stock Exchange that, because the exchange has discontinued trading of all equity securities effective Oct. 24, PPL intends to delist its common stock from the exchange.
    The delisting will be effective not sooner than 10 days after this news release, upon the filing by the company of a Form 25 with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The issuance of this news release is also required by SEC rules to delist the company's common stock from the exchange.

    I owned PPL until Friday's rally and was equally confused about this press release. And I did not lose any money on it.
