Im just apalled at the fact of how stupid these soldiers were....I just hope these arent the guys fighting this WAR....they got the whole thing backwards....when fanatics take hostages or prisoners they hide their faces and show the prisoners faces.....these idiots hide the prisoners faces and show theirs.....makes you wonder what they were thinking.....

  2. Yeah, that female soldier giving the thumbs up must be on every newspaper in the middle east. Hey, maybe she can turn it into a Survivor gig when she gets out of the brig.

  3. Why is it you can kill them but when you have them, you can't humiliate and mistreat them?

And how do we expect to put 20 year olds over there, have them fight in a brutal and almost incomprehensible war, but retain civilized values?

    Iraqis are nearly hopeless.

  4. This is yet just another example of the fact that the Bush Administration and the Pentagon had no plan when it came to a "post-War" Iraq.

First off, American "intelligence" officers ought to know better.

National guardsmen and other military guards (MP's) obviously had no training in the handling of prisoners of war, from the top. Again, just another example of how our military was not prepared for a "post-War" Iraq.

  5. Off course they were prepared. They predicted all Iraqi men would say, "Hussein's toppled, dude, get the tap"

Have a look at this site taken from a German daily:
    http://www.taz.de/pt/2004/05/04.nf/kari

The line under the cartoon says: "continuity in Iraqi torture prisons" and wht the general says is:
"well, we just keep that torture business running in an orderly condition and will hand it back on 30th of June to trustworthy Iraqi specialists"
