    If this pace continues for the month of July, and there's no reason to believe it won't since El Niño is just starting to release hidden ocean heat, it will be warmest since the Eemian interglacial, ~120k years ago.

    The result will be more deaths from diseases, injuries and crime including so-called "unexplained deaths" in those living in locations impacted the most by rising heat and extreme weather pattern changes.
