Some people are constantly posting in the wrong forum. Perhaps it would be better to remove the 'start a new thread' option from the page displaying messages, so that it's only available from the thread list page. That might force people to think which forum their new thread belongs in, it would also force those who access latest messages from the main page and then simply hit the 'start a new thread' link to first go to the discussion page. Also, perhaps you should change the link 'more' on the main page under the new threads to something a bit more explanatory, such as 'click here to see a complete list of threads'. Someone also suggested to give people the option to change the forum in the thread creation/editing page. I'm not sure exactly where people are having problems, but whatever the reason, those three changes should take care of it. Just a thought... voodoo
