Trump's trip to join Giuliani at Pennsylvania GOP lawmakers' baseless voter fraud event is cancelled
    https://www.cnn.com/2020/11/25/politics/trump-pennsylvania-hearing-giuliani/index.html

President Donald Trump's planned trip to join his attorney Rudy Giuliani in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday has been cancelled, two sources familiar with the matter tell CNN.

Trump was expected at the event where Republican state lawmakers are holding a "hearing" on allegations of fraud in this month's election, two sources familiar with the plans had told CNN on Tuesday.

The cancellation came after Giuliani was exposed to a second person who tested positive for coronavirus in just the last week.

Trump had expressed strong interest in joining Giuliani for Wednesday's event and directed aides to make plans for him to travel to Pennsylvania, multiple sources said. The trip, which will be his first outside of the Washington area since Election Day, was not listed on the public schedule released by the White House on Tuesday night, but was being handled internally as an unannounced movement.

State and local election officials have said there is no evidence of widespread voter fraud, and both a federal court and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court have dismissed lawsuits seeking to prevent the state from certifying the results of the election. Pennsylvania officially certified the results on Tuesday, sealing Biden's win in the key battleground state.

"In the United States of America, this cannot justify the disenfranchisement of a single voter, let alone all the voters of its sixth most populated state. Our people, laws, and institutions demand more," Judge Matthew Brann of the US District Court in the Middle District of Pennsylvania wrote on Saturday in a withering decision. "At bottom, Plaintiffs have failed to meet their burden to state a claim upon which relief may be granted."

Brann, a longtime and well-known Republican in Pennsylvania, added: "It is not in the power of this Court to violate the Constitution."

The event was the latest attempt by Trump and his allies to undermine confidence in the 2020 election and attack the legitimacy of President-elect Joe Biden.

The Trump campaign and Pennsylvania Senate Republicans announced plans for the Gettysburg event, a meeting of the Pennsylvania Senate Majority Policy Committee, on Tuesday -- casting it as an effort to expose "irregularities" in the 2020 election. The meeting is being organized by the Pennsylvania state Senate GOP, which is holding it at a hotel -- not at the state Capitol.

Trump and Giuliani have made baseless allegations of fraud in the election and delved into conspiracy theories alleging a plot to rig the vote, all of which have been refuted by state and local election officials across the country as well as the top cybersecurity official at the Department of Homeland Security. Trump fired that official, Chris Krebs, after he co-signed a statement declaring the 2020 election "the most secure" in US history
It was the first of three similar events the Trump campaign has scheduled in coordination with Republican state lawmakers in Pennsylvania, Arizona and Michigan. There's no evidence that widespread voter fraud has taken place in any of those states despite frequent claims by Trump and his allies.

The location of potential Trump visit was striking. Gettysburg is the site of the most famous battle of the Civil War, in which the Union turned back a Confederate invasion of the North. The battle culminated in a failed charge by troops under the command of Confederate Gen. George Pickett that was repelled by US forces.

Coming just two days after the General Services Administration allowed the presidential transition to proceed, Trump's planned visit had signaled once again that he does not intend to abandon his allegations about the election or concede the race to Biden.

Trump is also considering attending a similar event in Michigan next week. The Michigan State Board of Canvassers certified Biden's victory in that state on Monday, after Trump's legal efforts and a pressure campaign on state and local officials collapsed.

No, they are highly irrational. There is no doubt on this. I have no idea if you have the capabilities to figure this out but if you insist on pursuing this outlook on life it will be nothing but bad outcomes for you the rest of your life. No point in wasting the Supreme Court's time.

  3. I support my statements and answer question as shown by my posts while often you do not do the same. The evidence of the preceeding statement is throughout this thread.

Your suggestion my opinions are “Highly irrational” without providing support for your statement is designed to do what? Change my mind about my opinions? Reduce my credibility in front of others? Trying to influence the thinking of others without providing sound reasons actually does seem irrational to a degree.

I feel I know you well enough to be confident you are not actually an irrational person. You are probably emotionally charged up right now, possibly frustrated over the ineffectiveness of your communication style.

Support your god damn statements and reciprocate in answering my questions. You will not likely hurt my feelings, but if you do, need for change is indicated at some level. Besides, maybe one or both of us will have a better grasp over an issue after it has been thoroughly investigated by both sides.

    Try to focus.

Happy holidays to you and your family.

It is starting to get interesting. If this was a baseball game, we are just at the first inning.

  5. In the video above, Giuliani says they have multiple corroborating witnesses to election fraud who have signed affidavits in multiple states. Giuliani mentioned that a PA court summarily dismissed their case without hearing evidence. The concept of checks and balances under our Constitution have both explicit and implicit remedies for such situations involving abuse of power and conspiracy. The ultimate result of this election my determine whether our Democracy survives or not.

Edit: For those blocked by smallfil, including myself, the video above is a live feed of a PA Legislature in session on the elections with Giuliani as one of the speakers.

Wow, that's what you got out of a two line post that was direct and to the point ? Seriously, you've lost your mind. Trump lost the election, there was no election fraud, end of story. Nothing in your posts suggests you can think clearly any more.

  7. PA judge summarily dismissing a election related case before evidence is presented? You know what that sounds like, don’t you? Care to justify that action?

Multiple corroborating witnesses who have signed affidavits under penalty of purjury in multiple states suggest anything to you? Care to respond to the significance of this information?

Multiple indications of election fraud based on statistics, progression of counts, top to down ballots, etc, pointed out by myself, other politicians, and electronic voting experts suggest Biden is not a duly elected President. Do you wish to share a supported counterpoint regarding this statement?

(Hand cupped over ear) What’s that? You are saying all I’m doing is presenting evidence I’m crazy? Just like 74 million voters? Just like multiple, validated witnesses, including experts? Just like Giuliani and Trump? Well, ok, I might have to cede the question of the sanity of Giuliani and Trump to you!

Take some deep breaths and try to relax. The 2020 US Presidential election challenge continues.

Trump losing the election is very relaxing, rather joyous in nature actually. We celebrated it. You have yet to present any evidence, but apparently in your state of mind you think you did. Which puts you in same camp as Trump's crazy lawyers.

Keep flailing away, I don't care. Keep writing long winded, irrational posts.
