I say we reconcile the concerns over the ballots. Once they are reconciled and remedies applied, if necessary, if Trump does not have the votes necessary to win reelection, he gives a concession and unity speech. Thatt way, his supporters should be satisfied the election was fair and Joe Biden can start his Presidency on an even keel.
I agree with that. But the rules of the law and democracy should be respected. And that's something that Trump does not do. Saying "I am the President and I can do what I wish" is against the law because it means explicitely that he will do what he wishes, not what he can according to the law. If the Republicans have the right for a recount, they should get it. But if Trump should try to do a lot of damage, he should be brought to justice afterwards. Damaging will touch all Americans, so also his own voters. That would show that Trump doesn't care about anybody. He only cares about himself. He wouldn't care about destroying the US, and maybe his futur behavior will confirm that. It would be the ultimate proof that he doesn't care about MAGA. If I could vote, I would be forced to vote for Biden although I am far more for the Republican party. But the person Trump was, and is, totally unacceptable for me. We see that in a lot of states the Democrats have much more votes than the Republicans. If the Republicans are smart, they will play the game fairly, as they will have to convince democratic voters to vote next time for them, if they want to deliver the next President. Insulting democratic voters, and make them angry, by letting Trump take revenge will reduce their chances to convince democrats to vote for them the next time. The only choice that will be beneficial for ALL Americans is a smooth transition to the next President. If not ALL Americans will pay for it in one way of another. This is promissing no good things: https://www.politico.com/news/2020/11/07/trump-declines-to-concede-434927
For me personally, either a Supreme Court ruling in favor of the Democrats or a Supreme Court ruling in favor of Republicans combined with remedies that ultimately result in Joe Biden winning would satisfy the integrity of the vote without a Trump concession. If Trump were to go scorched Earth after the preceeding scenarios, especially if he attempted to incite his supporters, I would have no problem with Trump facing charges. I know of a well connected group consisting of bikers, many of whom are ex-military, that would absolutely engage if Trump suggested they do so. I don’t know how this would ultimately manifest, but it would probably be safe to say that armed clashes between them and Leftist factions would be likely. We need to go through the process of validating the vote for everybody’s sake. The American people must believe our system of electing our respresentatives is robust and has not been compromised.
Trump should brought to court for inciting to murder if weapons are going to be used. Democracies never use weapons, and if it would be really necesarry to use them, it should be against a dictator. And Trump is a dictator if the refuses to concede after court judgments and recounts.
You might want to note you are aligned with many Covid Deniers on this issue which should lead you to question your position on claiming election fraud. Maybe it's complete bs. Just a hint.
I am not a Covid denier. I’m also not a looter supporter. Not a arsonist supporter, Not a supporter of those who attempt to rewrite history. Not a supporter of those who are endorsed by a biased media or have been supported with biased investigators who engaged in civil rights abuse. Edit: To name a few reasons why I support Trump over Democrats in spite of Trump’s issues even though I’m a long term registered Democrat.
I didn't say you were a Covid Denier. What I'm saying is on the Election Fraud issue you are mostly aligned with people who are also Covid Deniers. There is a reason for that.
They lose, the system is corrupt and needs to be changed. They win, it's all good, nothing to see here. Suddenly the democrats don't support investigations. You just spent four years telling us the entire electoral process needs to be investigated. What changed?
