1.Actually,you are the worst political analyst on the board. 2.As one of the top political analyst on the board, I say that it would be best to eliminate The Senate or Dems show some balls and make DC,Puerto Rico,Guam,American Samoa,Northern Mariana Islands and The Virgin Islands States, eliminate gerrymandering and the electoral college. In this way,we would have a true democracy. And of course The GOP would be done as a national party.
Using your argument, there would be no reason to have a Senate. The House would just pass whatever they want and send to the president. ----The Senate serves as a check on a rogue House----which we currently have.
I would agree if The Senate doing the checking represented more people.A Senate that represents 42 million less people shouldn't be checking shit.
The Senate represents states. The House represents people. You need to learn about the foundation of this republic.
The Republicans had about as smooth sailing as they could hope for in 2022 then they kicked the Roe vs Wade nest. Quite funny, really. Ironically, although I am pro-life, I could very well vote Democrat because Republicans/RNC are too unelectably tone deaf and stupid to vote for. Note: The use of the non-word "Unelectably" is apropos here because I'm talking about Republicans. A lot of non-words might be considered descriptive for today's RNC. Democrats, and a fair number of their independent sympathizers will be fully energized by the time the DNC media machine hits their redline. RIP Republicans 1854-2020. All righty, then. Election transparency, an underlying theme of this thread, is now seemingly as irrelevant as the dodo. Rant /off.
A large majority of Hispanic voters are pro-life. Republicans will gain even more advantage in the 2022 and 2024 elections.
