I was thinking that with corn so cheap and the price of Lean hogs going up recently that hog raisers would withhold more hogs from slaughter and pork bellies would rise. I started thinking this around 83.... but they just keep slowly going down. Anyone have an opinion on the rationale for this stubborn PB trend?
Very true, but those Atkin diet freaks eat bacon by the pound! Actually, with fast food companies adding bacon to the menus I think the overall consumption has been up.
