anyone find a way to really kill these pop-ups? I have ad-aware (doesn't help completely). I'm sure it's somehting embedded on my machine because I don't get any at all on my lap-top. This has only recently become a problem. Thanks in Advance. uptik2000
i run adaware every week or so when i run a virus scan... http://proxomitron.cjb.net is what i use to keep all popups away whilst surfing...i think cnet.com has it linked, too...i've been using it for maybe a year now with no problems (sometimes you have to disable it temporarily if you need popups for certain kinds of websites) GL
Ad Aware download from CNET is good. Also need to download POW popup killer. Sounds like you got all those little bugs and spyware on your computer. Same thing happened to me, it got so bad that POW could barely keep up. Ad Aware solved my problem. GL
